Announcements
The NSS Unit of ACET is organizing a Drug Awareness Rally in Walajabad on 23rd December 2024. All volunteers are requested to assemble at the campus by 8:00 AM to participate and support this initiative for a drug-free society.
The NSS Unit of ACET is conducting the NSS Orientation Programme 2024-2025 on 6th January 2025. All volunteers are requested to attend and assemble at the designated venue on time. Further details will be shared soon.
All NSS volunteers are requested to maintain their Progress Hours Record regularly and get their progress cards filled during after-college hours at the NSS Cell. Ensure timely updates to stay aligned with the requirements.
The deadline for T-shirt payment is 30th December 2024. All volunteers are kindly requested to submit the required amount and provide the name to be printed on the T-shirt. Payments can be made at the NSS Cell, ACET, after college hours. Please ensure to complete the process before the deadline.

Guiding Principles for ADHI NSS Volunteers
As an ADHI NSS volunteer, you are a representative of our values and mission. Adhere to these standards to ensure a positive, respectful, and impactful experience for everyone.
1. Respect Everyone: Treat all individuals with respect, fairness, and kindness. Foster a welcoming environment for all.
2. Maintain Integrity: Be honest, reliable, and committed to your responsibilities. Follow all guidelines and instructions.
3. Prioritize Safety: Follow safety protocols and report any risks or incidents immediately. Avoid actions that could cause harm.
4. Communicate Clearly: Engage openly and respectfully with others. Share ideas and support your teammates.
5. Protect Privacy: Respect confidentiality and do not share personal or sensitive information without permission.
6. Be a Positive Ambassador: Represent the ADHI NSS team with professionalism in behavior and appearance.
7. Embrace Learning: Attend training and meetings, be open to feedback, and strive for personal and team growth.
8. Follow Laws and Policies: Comply with all local laws, regulations, and institutional policies during your service.

Eligibility for NSS Service Certificate
Any student enrolled as an NSS Volunteers, as per NSS Manual should put in at least 240 hours of useful social work in a continuous period of two year (i.e. 120 hours per year). A work diary is to be maintained by each NSS Volunteer, which will help him/her in the assessment his/her performance. Such volunteer is eligible to get NSS Service Certificate from the colleges. The Service Certificate given in the NSS Manual should be strictly adhered.
